the downfall of limited mobility

Due to my back putting me on "limited mobility" status I have not been getting up to check on Katie every time she is behind the couch or around the corner. Tonight she took advantage of this and I got to deal with the aftermath.... Apparently she thought the dog food container needed some coloring.

Trick-or-Treat

This was Katie's first time Trick-or-Treating since last year she was too sick to go out. At first she thought we were just going for a walk and didn't want to go to any doors. She saw a couple of other kids go to a door and then tried it herself. Once she saw how it worked she was ready for more. Some of the doors I had to stop her from trying to open herself and most of the houses I had to keep her from going inside (especially the ones with dogs). She did great for a while then saw a couple of kids with scary masks. She started to back up saying "no, no, no". After a while she was ready to go home. I was plenty ready to stop walking! When we got home she was exhasted but able to enjoy a rare piece of candy before going to bed. Overall, Katie had a Happy Halloween!
