visiting Santa

Katie spent the night with Uncle Mike, Tia Deiglis, Anna and Belen on Friday night. Saturday we all went to see Santa. Katie was a little over tired and threw a few tantrums in the process but eventually saw Santa. She smiled some of the time but the picture didn't quite catch it. At least she isn't screaming!! Here it is, Katie's first picture with Santa!

Christmas Tree Lane

Katie had fun last night helping Mommy drive down "Christmas Tree Lane". The traffic was very slow and we drove through the lights for two hours (it took twice as long driving it this year than it did walking it last year). Katie saw "Rudolphs", angels, baby Jesus, snowman, penguins and an actual Santa walking down the street stopping at cars as they slowly drove by. (Katie gave Santa "five" and didn't seem at all scared. Maybe if I have the energy we will try to visit him at the mall.

Katie had fun playing dress up when we went to visit Uncle Mike, Tia Deiglis and Anna and Belen last week. (I'm not so sure she was dressing herself up though- I think she may have been the doll for her cousins to dress up!) She had fun dancing with them too (along with the dancing/singing snowman from Grandma.

Katie had a LOT of fun playing with some balloons that I got for my birthday (from someone who thought my birthday was in November.)
